New Elysium

A narrative exploration game with branching paths and a tension-driven progression.

This project was developed during a collaborative internship and follows the structure of a narrative-driven adventure game. The prototype combines exploration, environmental storytelling, and decision-based progression, with a focus on atmosphere and tension. The experience is structured around guiding a character through a controlled and increasingly unstable environment, where player choices influence the information revealed and the direction of the story.

Development took place within a small international team working in an agile, goal-oriented workflow. Production was carried out under real constraints: limited time, varied skill levels among interns, and a requirement to deliver a functional prototype within five months. The work covered multiple aspects of game creation, including character systems, animation integration, interaction mechanics, AI behavior, and UI implementation.

My contribution centered primarily on character development, gameplay functionality, and technical systems. Working in this context required rapid iteration, clear communication, and the ability to coordinate tasks within a shared Unity project using version control. The project provided hands-on experience with designing interactive mechanics, structuring gameplay logic, and integrating assets into a coherent narrative framework.
